Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant in Health and Safety to join our national team in Australia. You will diagnose, design and implement evidence-based health and safety solutions for clients across Oceania, supported by senior leaders and a collaborative network.

The hybrid role is based in Naarm-Melbourne with opportunities to travel. You’ll help uplift teams, mentor graduates, and contribute to a culture of safety, learning and impact.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in health and safety management systems, auditing and risk management.
• Experience in professional services/consulting industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• A curious mindset with a willingness to learn and upskill.
• Genuine interest in health, safety and wellbeing.
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Proactive, collaborative and able to work in a high-performing team.
• Ability to travel intrastate and interstate as required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to planning and delivering health and safety projects including risk management and strategy.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary national team and coach juniors.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and provide guidance to graduates and consultants.
