Job summary

TAL Australia is seeking friendly, motivated people to join our Customer Experience team and help make every customer interaction positive. You’ll provide outstanding service by following our customer practices, staying authentic, empathetic and engaged, and by acting with care and accountability.

In this role you will be the first point of contact, resolve queries on the spot, handle simple admin tasks, assist with escalations, and ensure privacy and compliance in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in a contact centre or customer service role is preferred, but not essential.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Friendly, professional phone manner and a collaborative attitude.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers and aim to resolve their query on the spot.
• Complete simple admin tasks quickly and accurately.
• Help with escalations or complaints, working to resolve them as soon as possible.
• Follow privacy and compliance rules in all customer interactions.
• Spot patterns or common issues and share ideas to help fix them.
• Be a supportive team member, sharing knowledge and helping others when needed.
• Work with other teams when extra help is needed.
• Receive comprehensive training to learn about life insurance, our products, and our systems.
