Job summary

Ampstek in Sydney seeks an experienced Hybrid Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage network infrastructure across cloud and on‑premises environments. You will ensure seamless connectivity between data centres, cloud platforms, and enterprise networks, and support cloud migrations and security postures.

Ideal candidates bring hands‑on Cisco experience, deep knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP/OSPF, VPNs, DNS/DHCP, and strong collaboration across security and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Network Engineering.
• Experience with Hybrid Cloud Networking.
• Proficient in TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLAN, VPN, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience with BGP, OSPF, NAT, and network security.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco or equivalent networking technologies.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP networking.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
