Cloud Engineer - Network

We're working with a Victorian government organisation to engage an experienced Cloud Engineer - Network on a 12-month contract. This role is hands‑on and focused on designing, building, and supporting enterprise networking across on‑prem, Azure, and AWS environments.

You’ll work across physical and virtual network infrastructure, delivering secure and resilient connectivity including firewalls, edge routers, VPNs, ExpressRoute, and inter‑data‑centre links. The role sits within a large enterprise environment and works closely with architects and technical leads.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing enterprise network solutions across on‑prem, Azure, and AWS
• Building and supporting hybrid connectivity (ExpressRoute, site‑to‑site and point‑to‑site VPNs)
• Configuring and supporting physical network infrastructure (firewalls, switches, routers)
• Delivering cloud networking using Infrastructure‑as‑Code and automation
• Supporting network performance, security, availability, and incident resolution

Key Experience Required

• Strong experience in enterprise networking across on‑prem and multi‑cloud environments
• Hands‑on Azure and AWS networking experience
• Hybrid connectivity and network security expertise
• Experience working in complex enterprise environments
