Job summary

Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre is seeking a CRU Project Manager for a 2-year fixed-term, part-time role (30.4 hours per fortnight) based in Parkville. The role leads planning, delivery, and coordination of clinical trials within the CRU, ensuring regulatory compliance and timely execution.

Remuneration up to AUD 96,181.28 per year (HS29) pro-rated for part-time. Benefits include salary packaging, health cover discounts, and flexible, hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience in clinical trials or clinical research project management.
• Knowledge of GCP and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to develop and monitor budgets.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience in oncology or related clinical specialty.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, implementation, and tracking of CRU projects and trials.
• Develop timelines, milestones, and deliverables for studies.
• Coordinate investigators, research nurses, and support staff.
• Monitor progress, risks, and delays; address issues proactively.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and ethics submissions; maintain trial docs.
• Liaise with sponsors and internal stakeholders to support study delivery.
