Job summary

Australian National University is seeking an Events and Communications Officer within the ICEDS Institute, supporting 500+ researchers. You will help develop, promote and execute events in in-person, online and hybrid formats, and contribute to website and social media content.

Flexible arrangements, including 0.8 FTE, may be considered. The role reports to the ICEDS Institute Manager and requires strong organizational and communication skills, with a preference for climate/energy or

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in events, communications, media or content management.
• Knowledge / experience working on climate change, energy or disaster-risk issues and relevant tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded.
• Highly organized with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support development, promotion and execution of ICEDS events across in-person, online and hybrid formats.
• Develop content for the ICEDS website and social media profiles.
• Contribute to outreach activities across the Institute.
