Job summary

Wotton Kearney seeks a Client Reporting Coordinator/Analyst to deliver accurate, timely reporting and insights for major clients. You’ll transform data into client-facing reports, working with lawyers, finance and operations to support service delivery, compliance and decision-making.

The role involves building dashboards, improving data quality and expanding reporting capabilities across our professional services environment, with hybrid work and ongoing learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a reporting, finance analyst, business analyst, client reporting or similar data-focused role.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and improvements.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Experience producing financial, operational or client reporting in a professional services environment is valued.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate and insightful client reporting across financial, operational and matter management data.
• Extract, analyse, reconcile and validate data from multiple systems to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Develop and maintain client reporting packs, dashboards and reporting schedules.
• Manage client-specific reporting requirements and respond to ad hoc reporting requests.
• Coordinate annual financial audits for government clients.
• Monitor SLA performance, KPI deadlines and reporting obligations.
• Identify trends, anomalies and data discrepancies, working with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Maintain reporting registers, compliance records and reporting databases.
• Support matter opening, matter distribution, file closures and client set-up processes.
• Provide reporting guidance and support to lawyers and internal stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across reporting, data management and reporting automation.
• Work closely with Finance, Legal Operations, Practice Teams and Business Development to deliver high-quality reporting outcomes.
