Your resume and cover letter, tailored to exactly what they’re hiring for.
UniSC on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a senior leader to redesign how events are planned, governed, delivered and evaluated across the university. You will shape governance, policy and systems to deliver high-quality, scalable events aligned with university strategy.
You will lead change across campuses, balance risk and commercial opportunities, and influence executive decisions to enhance stakeholder experiences for students, staff and partners.
Reporting to the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, you'll lead the strategic redesign of how events are planned, governed, delivered and evaluated across UniSC. This is a highly visible leadership role with broad institutional influence, working closely with the Executive and stakeholders across portfolios, divisions and campuses.
Rather than simply managing events, you'll create the operating model that enables them. You'll bring together governance, policy, systems, commercial opportunities and stakeholder experience into a cohesive approach that supports UniSC's strategic ambitions and delivers consistent, high-quality outcomes across the university.
For an experienced senior leader, this is a rare opportunity to leave a lasting organisational legacy. You'll have the scope to lead change at scale, influence executive decision-making and help shape how one of Australia's most dynamic universities engages with students, staff, industry partners and communities.
You're a strategic leader who sees beyond individual events to the systems, governance and stakeholder experiences that make them successful. You bring the confidence to influence at executive level, the judgement to navigate complex organisational environments and the ability to bring people with you through change. You understand how to balance competing priorities, manage risk and identify commercial opportunities while ensuring a positive experience for customers, partners and communities.
Don't meet every requirement? At UniSC, we understand that your work and life experiences can be just as valuable. If you're excited about this role but your CV doesn't align perfectly with our position description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or one of our many other opportunities.
