Job summary

Allied X in Queensland seeks an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to develop and deliver person-centered, evidence-informed behaviour support plans for a diverse caseload across clinic and community settings. You will work with families, carers and a multidisciplinary team to promote sustainable outcomes, incorporating NDIS goals and Positive Behaviour Support frameworks.

This role requires Proficient NDIS registration and travel across regional Queensland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in psychology, social work, or related field.
• NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner Registration (minimum Proficient).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with challenging behaviours.
• Knowledge of NDIS and QLD legislation and coercive/restrictive practices.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and review Behaviour Support Plans in line with NDIS standards.
• Conduct functional assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions.
• Provide training and support to families, carers and support teams.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with standards.
• Travel to client locations as required and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
