Align Talent Pty Ltd is partnering with a well-established business in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs to recruit an Accounts Payable Team Leader. You will lead a team of 6, overseeing end-to-end AP processes and working across the business in a high-performing environment.

The role is hands-on yet focused on developing others and driving improvements, with a hybrid arrangement of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home each week.

Formación

• Strong end-to-end accounts payable experience in a medium to large organisation.
• Experience leading, supervising or mentoring an AP team.
• Solid understanding of invoice processing, payment runs, reconciliations and financial controls.
• Ability to manage workloads, deadlines and priorities with a hands-on leadership style.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor and support a team of 6 Accounts Payable professionals.
• Oversee end-to-end AP processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage daily workflows and balance team workloads.
• Review payment runs, supplier reconciliations and other AP transactions.
• Escalate complex supplier queries and payment discrepancies.
• Oversee vendor master data and maintain financial controls.
• Support corporate credit card administration and expense processes.
• Build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and efficiency.
