Job summary

Benevolent is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team in Sydney with hybrid work options. You will handle high volumes of invoices, maintain creditor accounts, and provide excellent service to internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in Excel and Dynamics 365 is preferred.

This permanent full-time role is based in Glebe, with on-site parking and salary packaging options. We offer a competitive salary, superannuation, and additional benefits including salary packaging

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in AP roles such as AP Officer, Accounts Officer, or Graduate Accountant.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced Excel skills including formulas, XLOOKUP, and pivots.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of invoices and claims with accuracy and proper approvals.
• Manage creditor accounts and respond to supplier inquiries.
• Prepare and process payment runs within terms.
• Assist month-end closing, reconciliations and reporting.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and documentation.
• Support audits with required documentation and records.
• Seek process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
