Job summary

Hitachi Ltd. seeks an Experienced Commissioning & Service Engineer to provide expert technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for complex Hitachi products directly at customer sites.

You will perform installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and repair, diagnosing issues with advanced tools to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. The role requires traveling up to 75%, handling on-site system upgrades, documenting all service activities, and collaborating

Qualifications

• Advanced diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in HV sectors of the Electrical industry is required.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair electromechanical systems, control systems, and software applications.
• Desirable: experience with Hitachi MACH Control & Protection System.
• Must be able to travel up to 75% and hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, perform preventive maintenance, and repair Hitachi equipment and systems on-site.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues using advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic tools.
• Lead system upgrades, modifications, and enhancements with minimal disruption to operations.
• Document service activities thoroughly and communicate results with customers and internal teams.
• Manage spare parts inventory and logistics for assigned regions; participate in on-call rotations and travel as needed.
