Job summary

Oxley HVACR is a growing HVACR business based in Prestons, Sydney, seeking an experienced Estimator / Project Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on preparing accurate estimates, tenders and quotes across commercial and industrial HVACR projects.

Primarily an office-based tendering and engineering role, with site involvement. You will work closely with Project Managers, Engineers and suppliers to deliver competitive solutions and support project delivery across Sydney and NSW regions.

Qualifications

• Experience in HVACR estimating and tender submissions.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Proven costing, labour estimation and value engineering skills.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tenders.

Responsibilities

• Review tender docs, drawings, specs and project scopes.
• Prepare accurate HVACR estimates and quotations.
• Provide engineering support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Take-offs for materials and equipment; develop labour and installation costs.
• Assess supplier and subcontractor quotations; identify risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and clients during tendering and handover.
