Job summary

Ventia is seeking an HVAC Technician to support the Western Sydney Airport Terminal. The role is full-time on-site at Western Sydney Airport, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across facilities.

You will carry out preventative maintenance, diagnose faults, service chillers and air conditioning systems, and complete documentation. The position also involves after-hours on-call rosters and a commitment to safety and standards.

Qualifications

• Trade qualified Refrigeration Mechanic with a current Refrigerant Handling Licence.
• Proven experience maintaining and repairing HVAC, refrigeration and mechanical ventilation systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across commercial air conditioning equipment.
• Sound understanding of Australian mechanical services standards and safety requirements.
• Current Driver Licence.
• Willingness to successfully complete a National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and scheduled HVAC maintenance across a range of facilities.
• Diagnose faults and perform breakdown repairs on air conditioning, refrigeration and mechanical services equipment.
• Service equipment ranging from large commercial chillers through to smaller air conditioning systems.
• Complete work orders, maintenance reports and inventory documentation accurately.
• Provide recommendations to improve equipment performance and extend asset life.
• Participate in an on-call roster and respond to after-hours callouts when required (approx. every 8 weeks).

About The Role
