Job summary
Daikin Australia is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to diagnose system performance, service and install both commercial and domestic air-conditioning units, and communicate clearly with dealers and end-users. You will adhere to WHS protocols, handle refrigerants safely, and maintain detailed records in ServiceMax.
On-the-job training is provided, with a fully maintained service vehicle and opportunities for career growth within a global HVAC leader.
Qualifications
- HVAC troubleshooting skills required.
- Experience with Daikin products desirable but not essential.
- Trade certification for HVACR is mandatory.
- Licenses: refrigerant handling and restricted electrical.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to participate in after-hours on-call.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose HVAC system performance using structured testing and diagnostic logic.
- Service, repair and install commercial and domestic air-conditioning systems for optimal efficiency.
- Communicate clearly with dealers, end-users and contractors to explain work performed and maintain Daikin’s reputation.
- Adhere to WHS protocols, LOTO procedures and safe refrigerant handling.
- Maintain accurate service records, parts procurement and digital documentation within the ServiceMax platform.
