Ideal candidates are enrolled or eligible for the Certificate III, hold a White Card, and have a willingness to obtain a Trainee Refrigerant Handling Licence.

Qualifications

• Current enrolment or eligibility for enrolment in the Certificate III in Air-conditioning and Refrigeration trade qualification.
• A valid White Card (General Construction Induction) and a Trainee Refrigerant Handling Licence (or willingness to obtain via ARCtick).
• A current valid Australian Driver’s Licence is highly preferred.
• Basic hands-on mechanical aptitude with hand and power tools, applying TAFE concepts to tasks.
• Ability to take direction, communicate clearly with colleagues and clients, and produce service documentation.
• Ability to pass a standard National Police Check and Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified Service Technicians with disassembly, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance of residential and light commercial systems.
• Execute unpacking, cleaning, mounting, and basic assembly of HVAC units and components.
• Adhere to Daikin policies, quality systems, and OH&S requirements under supervision.
• Maintain awareness of Environmental Policy and contribute to on-site waste reduction.
• Keep tools, job sites, and service vehicles clean, safe, organised and hazard-free.
