Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Service HVAC Technician to join our Cairns team. This full-time role services and maintains commercial HVAC systems across the region, with ongoing training and career development within a global industry leader.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (or equivalent) is required.
• QLD Restricted Electrical Licence (minimum requirement).
• Proven experience servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Commitment to safety and proactive risk management.

Responsibilities

• Service, inspect, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot system issues.
• Complete preventive and reactive maintenance activities.
• Install and commission new HVAC components as required.
• Maintain accurate service reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with a highly skilled technical team.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
