Job summary

Talent Partner Australia in Scone is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician for a varied role across residential and commercial sites in the Hunter Valley region. This is a hands-on position joining a professional team that values quality workmanship, reliability and customer service.

The role covers service, maintenance, breakdowns, installations and project work with a company vehicle and long-term development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration.
• Current ARCtick licence.
• Current Australian Driver Licence.
• Solid HVAC/R service and installation experience.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Residential and commercial air conditioning / Refrigeration installations.
• Complete preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Service residential and commercial systems.
• Commission and test completed installations.
• Work with split, ducted and commercial systems.
• Complete service reports and job documentation.
• Communicate with customers regarding works being undertaken.
• Maintain a safe, clean and professional work environment.
• Assist with the development of apprentices and junior team members.

The Position

This role will see you working across the Hunter region, attending a mixture of scheduled jobs, service calls and project work.

Depending on your experience, your day may involve diagnosing a system fault, completing preventative maintenance, installing new equipment, commissioning a system or working through a larger commercial project.

You’ll be trusted to manage your work professionally from start to finish, with a strong focus on getting the job done properly and leaving the customer with a positive experience.

There is also the opportunity to provide guidance to less experienced technicians and apprentices and take a more senior role within the team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Residential and commercial air conditioning / Refrigeration installations
