Job summary

CV2ME in Brisbane is seeking an experienced HVAC & R Technician to join our commercial service, maintenance and project team in Chermside. You will diagnose, service, install and fault-find across a variety of commercial systems, with a focus on quality, safety and customer service.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years' experience, a Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, and the ability to work independently while mentoring others.

The Opportunity

Based in Chermside, Brisbane, this is a full-time position with an established and growing HVAC & R business delivering commercial service, maintenance, and project work across Queensland, together with selected domestic work.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service and repair a broad range of commercial HVAC & R equipment and systems.
• Undertake preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing to keep equipment operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.
• Install HVAC & R equipment, components, and associated systems across commercial projects.
• Work across commercial fit outs, design & construct projects, and service environments.
• Investigate faults, identify root causes, and implement practical, lasting solutions.
• Liaise directly with clients, Building Supervisors, Project Managers and other stakeholders.
• Provide professional technical advice and communicate issues and solutions clearly.
• Complete accurate service reports, job records, and documentation.
• Ensure work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with Australian Standards, legislation, manufacturer requirements, and company procedures.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and professional workmanship.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver projects and service requirements efficiently.
• Support and mentor other technicians where required, helping to build capability and technical confidence across the team.

• Current White Card.
