Job summary

Core Talent is seeking an HVAC Project Manager to join a well-established Australian mechanical contractor. Initially managing an $8M project in North Sydney, you will oversee delivery from award to handover, coordinate programmes and budgets, and ensure safety and quality compliance onsite.

Applicants with 5+ years’ experience in commercial HVAC/mechanical projects and qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or Construction Management are encouraged to converse.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering commercial HVAC and mechanical projects.
• Relevant degree qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or Construction Management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver commercial HVAC/mechanical projects from award through commissioning and handover.
• Manage programmes, budgets, cost forecasts and commercial performance.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site activities, procurement and commissioning.
• Ensure WHS, QA and regulatory compliance across sites.
• Provide technical leadership to optimise design, installation and performance.
• Manage client, consultant and stakeholder relationships, including progress reporting and risk management.

Our client is a well-established Australian Mechanical HVAC contractor, delivering top class projects across Commercial and Residential sectors. Their reputation for excellence has meant they have grown and continue to grow at a fantastic rate. They are looking for a HVAC Project Manager that wants to join the business at an exciting time initially managing an $8M project in North Sydney
As a HVAC Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering commercial HVAC and mechanical projects from award through to commissioning and handover
• Managing project programmes, budgets, cost forecasts, and commercial performance
• Coordinating subcontractors, site activities, procurement, and commissioning works
• Ensuring WHS, QA, and regulatory compliance across all project sites
• Providing technical and engineering leadership to optimise design, installation, and performance outcomes
• Managing client, consultant, and stakeholder relationships, including progress reporting, variations, and risk management

We are keen to speak with candidates who have 5+ years’ experience delivering commercial HVAC and mechanical projects as Mechanical Project Manager, HVAC Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer. If you hold qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or Construction Management we would love to have a conversation. You will be offered a salary between $140-155K plus car allowance and super depending on experience
