Job summary

New Venture Recruitment is partnering with a Tier I HVAC contractor to recruit a Project Manager for their light commercial division in Melbourne. You will take ownership of HVAC projects from planning through completion, on budgets up to $5 million, coordinating subcontractors and stakeholders.

You’ll benefit from an established business with in-house engineering, drafting and administration teams, enabling you to focus on delivery while developing your commercial and technical capabilities.

Qualifications

• ~2 years’ experience managing HVAC/mechanical projects.
• Experience delivering commercial projects for Tier II builders.
• Sound understanding of project financials, programming, procurement and subcontractor coordination.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients and project teams.
• Proactive, organized approach with ownership mindset.
• Ambition to progress into major projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage HVAC projects valued up to $5 million from award through to practical completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, site teams and project stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets, variations, procurement, programmes and project reporting.
• Maintain relationships with Tier II builder clients and ensure projects meet specifications.
• Work with in-house engineering, drafting and administration teams to support delivery.
• Monitor performance, identify risks and maintain quality and client satisfaction.
