Job summary

Transgrid is recruiting Protection and Metering Technicians across Greater Sydney and regional NSW. You will protect high voltage networks, perform testing, fault finding and commissioning, and develop skills across metering and secondary systems.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent qualification.
• Foundational experience with protection systems and metering.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics in the field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, test and fault find protection relays and schemes.
• Support installation and commissioning across lines and transformers.
• Develop capability across revenue, check and metering.
• Interpret schematics and assist with safe switching and protection work.
