Job summary

Barto Gold, an Australian gold explorer, developer and producer, is seeking an experienced electrical technician to join the Southern Cross Operations on a permanent basis. The role covers installation, maintenance and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems at the Processing Mill and nearby sites, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will respond to breakdowns promptly and support production targets, working on an 8/6 roster with BIBO from Perth or DIDO options.

Qualifications

• Current WA Electrical Licence.
• Minimum of 2 years mine site fixed plant electrical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years post apprenticeship electrical work experience.
• High Voltage Switching Qualification.
• Working at Heights Ticket.
• Confined Spaces Ticket.
• Elevated Work Platform Ticket.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical and instrumentation systems at Southern Cross Operations Processing Mill and surrounding sites.
• Respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively to minimize downtime.
• Assist in achieving production targets while following health and safety regulations.
