Job summary

Madergroup is seeking HV Electricians to support heavy mining equipment across multiple Australian sites. This casual, on-site role focuses on HV systems, fault-finding, diagnostics and preventative maintenance on equipment from CAT, Hitachi, Liebherr and others.

You'll perform breakdown support, HV electrical work, and site servicing with roster flexibility and competitive hourly rates plus super. A WA Electrical Licence and current driver’s licence are required.

Qualifications

• HV fault-finding and diagnostics across heavy mining equipment.
• Must hold WA Electrical Licence.
• Current Driver’s Licence is required.
• HV Switching Ticket/Licence is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on heavy mining equipment.
• Provide breakdown support and fault finding for HV systems.
• Carry out HV electrical work across site operations.
• Work on equipment from CAT, Hitachi, Liebherr and other OEMs.

What You’ll Be Working On

Heavy mobile mining equipment

HV systems, diagnostics & repairs

Surface mining machinery across major OEMs including:

CAT

Hitachi

Liebherr

You’ll be responsible for preventative maintenance, breakdown support, fault finding, and HV electrical work across a range of site operations.

Requirements

WA Electrical Licence

Previous experience on heavy mining equipment

Strong HV fault-finding and diagnostics experience

HV Switching Ticket/Licence highly desirable

Current Driver’s Licence

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
