Job summary

Enertia Talent is seeking an experienced ASP3 Design Engineer to deliver high voltage transmission and distribution mains designs across NSW, including overhead lines, underground cables and substations. You will work with our clients and internal teams to produce designs for 66kV+ networks, ensuring compliance with NSW network standards and project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3-5 years' experience in ASP3 contestable works, with a focus on transmission and distribution mains.
• Strong experience designing high voltage networks above 33kV, ideally 66kV and above.
• Experience across overhead lines, underground cables and substation related works, with 132kV experience highly regarded.
• Experience with PLS-CADD, CYMCAP, NEARA and AutoCAD is desirable

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed ASP3 designs for high voltage overhead and underground mains projects.
• Work across OH lines, underground cables and substation related works, ideally at 66kV-132kV
• Prepare designs, drawings, work packs, reports and technical documentation in line with project requirements
• Ensure designs meet relevant network standards, specifications, safety requirements and approval processes
• Conduct Safety in Design reviews and incorporate constructability considerations into designs
• Provide technical support to construction teams and collaborate with clients, network providers and internal stakeholders
