Job summary

Padua College on the Mornington Peninsula is seeking a Learning Leader - Humanities (POL 2) for a three-year tenure alongside a teaching appointment. You will lead curriculum design, coordinate pedagogy across humanities subjects, and drive improvements in student engagement and outcomes.

The successful candidate will work with the Educational Initiatives team to ensure rigorous teaching aligned with Padua’s Learning and Teaching Framework, plus ongoing staff development and assessment practices

Qualifications

• Evidence of experience in leading curriculum and teaching across multiple subjects.
• Strong understanding of learning and teaching frameworks.
• Ability to mentor staff and lead assessment practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum and program development across the Learning Area.
• Oversee course provision to ensure exemplary pedagogy.
• Support and develop staff within the Learning Area.
• Administer the Learning Area effectively.
• Collaborate with the Principal and College Improvement Team.
