St Francis Xavier College ACT is seeking a Coordinator to lead curriculum and learning across junior and senior studies. The role provides expert leadership in teaching, learning, and curriculum within a Catholic secondary school in Canberra.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master teaching qualification required.
• WWVP clearance required for working with vulnerable people.
• TQI registration mandatory for Queensland/ACT teacher accreditation guidance.
• Accreditation in accordance with Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy.

About the Role

The Coordinator plays a vital role in the College by providing staff and student support and advice in teaching and learning and creating an environment where teaching and learning are valued. The Coordinator provides expert leadership in curriculum, teaching and learning in junior and senior studies, utilising best practice in current research, evidence and innovation to meet the needs of all learners. As a member of the Curriculum Leadership team, the Coordinator reports to the Assistant Principal Curriculum and Innovation and Teaching and Learning and to the Principal in realising the vision and mission of the College. The successful applicant will be an experienced educator who has demonstrated successful experience in curriculum leadership and will possess initiative, integrity and vision.
