Job summary

TAFE NSW invites applications for world‑class educators to inspire the next generation of Human Services - Ageing and Disability. Travel to Armidale, Ballina, Campbelltown and Nowra campuses is required for permanent full-time roles.

You will deliver blended learning, using online tools and Microsoft Office to create engaging experiences. Preference given to Aboriginal candidates; a 14‑week Paid to Learn course may be offered if you lack teaching qualifications.

Qualifications

• Hold an appropriate industry relevant qualification in Ageing and/or Disability.
• Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training (see the candidate support document) OR willingness to undertake the full-time 14 week 'Paid to Learn' course.
• Have a minimum of three (3) years post-qualification experience in the industry, gained within the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver educational programs using a blend of face-to-face and online delivery methods to enable students to achieve outcomes.
• Confidently use online platforms and digital tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, to support engaging learning experiences.
• Teach students to support older people and people with disability to live with dignity, independence and choice, with person-centred care and inclusive support strategies.
• Guide students through practical, real-world learning scenarios to build skills, professional confidence and a foundation for careers in ageing and disability.
