Partnering directly with the CEO, you will translate ShapeMakers' business strategy into a clear, practical people agenda. Your immediate priority will be supporting the successful integration of new acquisitions—aligning structures, leadership, systems and ways of working so the businesses can operate effectively as one group. As a trusted adviser to the CEO and senior leadership team, you will provide visible, end-to-end HR leadership across the business.
You will balance pace with sound governance, strengthen leadership capability and create a consistent employee experience through a period of significant change and growth.
Partner directly with the CEO and senior leaders to align the people agenda with ShapeMakers' growth strategy
Lead the people aspects of acquisition integration, including communication, structure, onboarding and cultural alignment
Build consistent, scalable HR frameworks, policies and ways of working across the group while recognising the needs of each business
Coach leaders through change, performance, development and employee relations matters with practical, commercially sound advice
Manage the full employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition and onboarding through to performance, development, retention and offboarding
Strengthen leadership capability and support the development of high-performing, accountable teams
Use workforce data and HR insights to guide decisions, identify risks and measure progress
Champion clear communication, employee engagement and a shared culture as ShapeMakers grows
Collaborate with HR and People & Culture colleagues across the Borg Group to share best practice, contribute to strategic people initiatives and leverage specialist expertise to support business outcomes
Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist in a growing, multi-site or operational business
Experience supporting acquisitions, business integration, organisational change or rapid growth will be highly regarded
Demonstrated ability to influence executives and build trusted relationships with leaders and employees at all levels
Commercially minded and pragmatic, with the judgement to balance business needs, employee experience and risk
Comfortable operating strategically and rolling up your sleeves to deliver in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and contemporary HR practice, with a genuine passion for building one connected, high-performing culture
