Job summary

EPSA Group in Australia seeks an experienced HST Manager to lead health, safety, environment and training strategy across Australian operations. You will report to the Australian Country Manager and partner with site leaders to embed practical HST systems and drive a proactive safety culture.

The role requires a tertiary WHS qualification, extensive mining industry experience, and a proven ability to influence at executive level, manage audits and incidents, and optimise risk controls across

Qualifications

• Tertiary WHS qualification or equivalent.
• Extensive senior HST leadership experience in mining/resources.
• Strong knowledge of WHS and training compliance in mining.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of HST strategies, systems and standards in Australian mining operations.
• Provide HST advice and coaching to executive and site leadership teams.
• Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental, training and mining legislation and internal standards.
• Lead incident investigations, audits and assurance activities and close corrective actions.
• Oversee risk management, emergency preparedness, injury management and return-to-work processes.
• Manage training, competency and capability programs for employees and contractors.
