Job summary

Domremy Catholic College Five Dock is seeking an engaging HSIE and RE Teacher for 2027, with a temporary appointment and potential permanency. The role requires the ability to teach Stage 6, strong classroom management, and a commitment to student well-being in a Catholic learning environment.

You will contribute to a comprehensive high school setting, focusing on spiritual, academic, social and physical development, with opportunities for professional growth and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.
• Religious Education qualifications or willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
• Ability to teach Stage 6 and strong classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Teach HSIE and RE to a girls’ high school class in a Catholic environment.
• Deliver engaging, student-centred lessons with a focus on well-being and inclusion.
• Create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences and assess student progress.
