Job summary

PYBAR Mining Services Pty is seeking an experienced Health, Safety, Environment and Training (HSET) Coordinator for its Raise Bore Division in South Australia. The role operates on an 8:6 roster, with preference for candidates based in SA or nearby. Prior Raiseboring exposure is highly valued.

You will drive proactive safety culture, partner with site leaders, and promote risk awareness while ensuring compliance with PYBAR systems and Australian legislation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a HSET coordinator or similar position.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in safety, health, or environmental management.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in Underground Hardrock mining.
• Experience in drilling is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of WHS/OH&S regulations across Australian jurisdictions.
• Proven stakeholder engagement and leadership capabilities.
• Experience completing incident investigations, preferably using ICAM.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement HSET activities at site level.
• Identify opportunities to improve health and safety performance.
• Provide day-to-day support and oversight on HSET practices.
• Help deliver HSET capabilities on site and maintain client communication.
• Work with site leaders to embed safety systems in daily operations.
• Promote safety behaviours and a culture of accountability.
