Job summary

MC Earthmoving in Victoria is seeking an experienced HSEQ Manager to own Health, Safety, Environment and Quality across civil construction, earthmoving, quarry and mining projects. You will lead the IMS, drive risk controls, audits and reporting while partnering with leaders to embed a strong safety culture and continuous improvement throughout all sites.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated HSEQ experience in civil construction, bulk earthworks, mining or quarrying.
• Tertiary qualification in WHS/HSEQ or related discipline; significant industry experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Build and promote a positive safety culture across all levels of the business.
• Provide practical HSEQ advice to operational teams and encourage hazard reporting.
• Lead incident investigations with root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Conduct risk assessments and support continuous improvement to reduce workplace risks.
• Prepare HSEQ reports, alerts and lessons learned communications.
• Maintain and improve the Integrated Management System (IMS) and ISO certifications.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, manage non-conformances and CAPAs.
• Develop and maintain HSEQ documentation and project-specific procedures.
• Engage with HR and operations to coordinate inductions and competency management.
• Facilitate toolbox talks and support training records management.
