Job summary

Empire Group is seeking an experienced HSEQ professional to own health, safety, environment and quality across our high-growth Australian manufacturing operations. This pivotal role supports our international expansion and partners with executive leadership to shape governance and systems.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will drive ISO certifications, audits, incident investigations and continuous improvement, while coaching frontline teams and aligning HSEQ with operational goals.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in an HSEQ leadership role within manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve integrated HSEQ management systems across operations.
• Lead ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certification activities.
• Manage internal/external audits, inspections and corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Coach blue- and white-collar employees on HSEQ best practices.
• Strengthen HSEQ accountability with operational leaders.
• Maintain policies, procedures and training records.
• Monitor HSEQ metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop scalable systems for future international operations.
