Job summary

Symal Infrastructure is delivering a major civil package on the Gawaya Baya Wind Farm and is seeking two experienced HSEQ Advisors to join the project team on a FIFO or DIDO basis. The roles include 30% uplift, with accommodation and meals provided, to uphold the highest health, safety, environment and quality standards on site.

You will work closely with project leaders, supervisors and subcontractors to drive a proactive safety culture, implement HSEQ systems, conduct audits, and support

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate IV in WHS; Diploma in WHS preferred.
• Solid Australian construction industry experience.
• Site-based HSEQ/WHS role experience.
• Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and construction requirements.
• Experience conducting inspections, audits and incident investigations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Current Australian Driver Licence and White Card.
• First Aid qualification and high-risk construction training.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain HSEQ systems across the project.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, observations and compliance activities.
• Provide practical HSEQ advice to construction teams and subcontractors.
• Support incident response, investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Monitor and improve project HSEQ performance.
• Deliver HSEQ training, inductions and toolbox talks.
