Job summary

Verve Partners is partnering with a leading national commercial builder to recruit an experienced HSEQ Advisor to support project delivery and business operations, focusing on risk management and IMS compliance on site.

You will work with delivery, estimating and site teams, conduct safety audits, drive continuous improvement, and mentor project staff while maintaining strong relationships across the business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' site-based experience in construction.
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of construction trades and trade coordination.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to interpret information, identify trends and drive improvements.
• Internal Auditor/Assessor accreditation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support project and estimating teams with HSEQ compliance and risk management.
• Monitor WHS compliance, environmental obligations and company systems.
• Conduct site safety audits and inspections; support project-based HSEQ activities.
• Support IMS, accreditation and external audits.
• Investigate incidents and non-conformances; monitor close-out actions.
• Review HSEQ data and trends to identify improvement opportunities.
• Provide practical advice, mentoring and training to project/site teams.
