Job summary

Verve Partners partners with a leading national builder to recruit an experienced HSEQ Advisor for project delivery and broader business operations. You will support risk management, legislative compliance and the ongoing application of the Integrated Management System (IMS).

This role requires visible engagement with project teams, offering practical guidance, identifying improvements and ensuring compliance remains embedded throughout delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' site-based experience in construction or related sector.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential.
• Solid knowledge of WHS legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of construction trades and coordination.
• Internal Auditor & Assessor Accreditation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support project and estimating teams with HSEQ compliance and risk management.
• Monitor WHS environmental obligations and company systems.
• Conduct site safety audits, inspections and IMS-related activities.
• Support IMS, accreditation and external audits.
• Investigate incidents and close-out non-conformances.
• Review HSEQ data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Provide practical guidance, mentoring and training to site teams.
