Job summary

Silverstrand Developments is seeking a Project Manager to join our experienced civil team on the Dalby Gas Power Plant Project (2/1 roster). You’ll lead across Civil and Structures scopes, coordinating labour, plant, and materials to deliver project milestones.

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will develop and implement construction programs, manage budgets, subcontracts, and client interfaces, and drive safety and quality across delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar (desirable).
• Minimum 5 years experience on civil infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read drawings and interpret plans.
• Experience delivering self-perform works.
• Programming and cost control.
• Excellent safety record on prior projects.

Responsibilities

• Organise labour, plant, equipment and materials to deliver the project.
• Create and implement construction program.
• Resolve technical, commercial and scheduling issues with clients.
• Review subcontract/supplier invoices and monthly claims.
• Manage budgets, tracking and delivery within company strategy.
• Engage suppliers, consultants and subcontractors.
• Compile contracts per project management philosophy and optimize plant/labour.
• Monitor work plans against contractual and financial targets.
• Reconcile costing and forecast management.

Silverstrand is seeking a Project Manager to become a key part in shaping the future of our business alongside an experienced team.

Principle contractor and subcontractor experience on Bridges, Rail, Pipelines, Concrete works, Renewable energy, Earthworks projects.

You will be based on our Dalby Gas Power Plant Project on a 2/1 roster.

Base Salary + Super + Uplift + Vehicle + Bonus Structure

About the Role:

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager:

• Working across Civil and Structures scope on a large project.
• Working with the project team to organise all required labour, plant and equipment and any other materials required to ensure project delivery as well as outlining short and medium-term workflow.
• Creating & implementing the construction program.
• Working with clients to resolve technical, commercial and scheduling issues.
• Reviewing and approving subcontract and supplier invoices and monthly claims.
• Manage budgets, tracking, and delivery of projects within the context of the Company’s overall strategy and objectives.
• Manage the engagement and delivery of works for suppliers, consultants, and subcontractors in a schedule of rate and/or lump sum environment.
• Compile contracts according to the Company’s project management philosophy and implement corrective actions for the efficient utilisation of plant and labour hires.
• Experience with project programming, cost and quality control, procurement and supplier engagement
• Monitor and review work plans and programs against contractual and financial targets.
• Maintain, reconcile, and report on costing and forecast management.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, ConstructionManagement or similar is desirable
• Minimum 5 years experience oncivil infrastructure projects.

• Excellent safety record from previous projects.
