Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking HSE Advisors to work within our Mining and Minerals North West Region, playing an essential role in the Port & East Pilbara team on shutdown and scheduled works. FIFO role on an 8/6 roster from Perth WA.

Provide HSE advice and expertise to the site team, conduct audits and investigations, monitor practices, and ensure compliance with HSE legislation and company standards. Strong communication and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV qualification in OHS or WHS is essential.
• First Aid Qualification is required.
• Minimum 2 years’ HSE experience in mining construction/maintenance or shutdowns.
• Previous contractor experience with BHP, FMG or Rio Tinto.
• HSE systems/reporting proficiency; concise report writing and action tracking.
• Well established knowledge of site HSE policies and procedures, and extensive knowledge of HSE legislation and standards and their relevance to Monadelphous.
• Well-developed communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels.
• Availability to work shutdown profiles and pick up rostered project swings when required.

Responsibilities

• Provide HSE advice and expertise to the site team.
• Conduct and support HSE audits, inspections, investigations and training/awareness.
• Monitor work practices to ensure adherence to safety and environmental procedures and standards.
• Ensure all HSE processes and activities; JHA’s, permits etc. comply with relevant HSE legislation and company standards.
• Provide hands on support to implement HSE improvements, plans or solutions.
