About the Role

Our client, a leading commercial builder, is seeking an experienced and motivated HSEQ Advisor to join their team in Perth. Reporting directly to the HSEQ Manager, this role will play a critical part in ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) systems across commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical HSEQ advice to project teams and stakeholders
• Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and audits
• Support subcontractors in developing and documenting safe systems of work
• Assist Site Managers in reviewing and monitoring subcontractor HSEQ performance
• Manage incident and injury reporting, investigation, and follow-up
• Contribute to the development and administration of HSEQ management systems
• Assist with internal and external audits to maintain compliance standards

• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a team-first mindset
• Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence
• Desirable: Relevant trade qualification and/or previous experience within the commercial construction industry
