Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Systems Coordinator to join our HSE team. Based in Brisbane or Sydney, you will support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of HSE management systems across operations.

You will work with operational leaders and external providers to enhance safety systems, deliver audits, dashboards, and regulatory compliance, while promoting a strong safety culture and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

  • Experience in WHS, compliance, systems coordination or similar role.
  • Working knowledge of WHS legislation, management systems and audit processes.
  • Experience supporting accredited management systems will be highly regarded.
  • Full Australian working rights and willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and continuously improve WHS management systems, ensuring reliability, usability, and compliance.
  • Manage system access, user permissions, data integrity, and security across safety platforms.
  • Produce compliance reports, audit documentation, safety dashboards, and performance insights.
  • Support incident reporting, ISO management systems, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Maintain safety documentation, policies, procedures, and document control processes.
  • Provide system support and guidance to users across the business.
  • Partner with operational leaders and external providers to enhance safety systems and reporting capability.
  • Contribute to initiatives that improve safety performance and strengthen safety culture.

As we continue to strengthen our safety culture and invest in modern systems and technology, we are seeking a Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Systems Coordinator to join our Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) team and help implement continuous improvement across our operations.**The Role**Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, the HSE Systems Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) management systems. Based in either Brisbane or Sydney, this role will be supporting the integration of a newly acquired business.This is a permanent full-time position responsible for ensuring our safety systems remain effective, compliant, and user-friendly while delivering meaningful reporting and insights that support safer workplaces across the business.
