Fortescue is seeking an experienced health, safety, environment and security professional to support planning, improvement and implementation of Fortescue's Health and Safety Management System. Based at the Eliwana FIFO site, you will partner with operational leaders to advance safety and risk reduction programs.

You will engage in incident investigations (ICAM), coach leaders, ensure compliance with WHS legislation, and drive the Major Hazard Program.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in health and safety leadership within mining, heavy industry or construction.
• Knowledge of WHS legislation and its application in operational environments.
• Experience supporting HSES systems, audits and assurance activities.
• Strong coaching and influencing frontline leaders and operational teams.
• Experience in incident investigation (ICAM or equivalent).
• Competency in risk/hazard management and critical controls.
• Data analysis and safety reporting skills are desirable.
