Job summary
Danone is seeking an experienced and influential Health Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager to join our team based at the Kiewa manufacturing site in Victoria. You will lead the HSE agenda across manufacturing operations and corporate offices.
Reporting to the Plant Director with a dotted-line relationship to the APAC Health & Safety Head, you will shape and deliver Danone's HSE strategy across the Country Business Unit.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering or related discipline.
- NEBOSH or equivalent health & safety certification.
- Experience leading Health, Safety & Environment programmes within manufacturing, FMCG or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of Australian workplace health, safety and environmental legislation.
- Experience managing environmental compliance, sustainability initiatives and risk management frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the site's Health, Safety & Environment strategy aligned with Danone's priorities.
- Lead incident investigations, risk assessments and corrective action programmes.
- Drive a proactive safety culture focused on prevention, accountability and continuous learning.
- Monitor HSE performance and deliver insightful reporting to stakeholders locally and globally.
- Partner with operational teams to embed sustainable practices across the site.
