Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an HSE professional to support site operations across the East region. You will collaborate with operations to deliver on health, safety and environmental objectives and drive improvements to prevent incidents.

The role requires a tertiary qualification in a health and safety discipline, 3–5 years of hands-on experience and strong report writing, investigations and stakeholder management skills. Some travel to East Coast sites is expected.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the HSE Lead East, you will work closely with and support site operations to deliver on HSE objectives, strategies and accountabilities for the provision of services within your area of responsibility.

You will act as a key contact for the operational team and clients in regard to health, safety and environmental improvements, be focused on continuousimprovement and drivestrategies and initiatives to aid in the prevention of incidents.

You will be qualified in a health & safety related discipline and have a minimum of 3-5 yearsdemonstrated experience in supporting, influencing and driving a zero harmmindset, have a detailed knowledge of HSE legislation, risk management, critical risk management and root cause analysis. The successful candidate shall also possess strong IT acumen and report writing skills, paying attention to detail.
