Job summary

Sydney Metro is seeking a Health & Safety Coordinator for a fixed-term full-time opportunity in Sydney, NSW. The role coordinates safety frameworks across complex infrastructure projects and drives safety reporting and compliance across delivery teams.

The role requires leading safety initiatives, coordinating priorities, and communicating technical information clearly to stakeholders. A minimum Certificate IV in WHS or Rail Safety is preferred, with standing support from Transport for NSW.

Qualifications

• You hold relevant safety qualifications, or are working towards a minimum Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or Rail Safety.
• Collaborative safety professional, skilled at coordinating competing priorities and communicating technical information clearly.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating health and safety programs within complex projects and high-risk environments to achieve safe, compliant outcomes.
• Sound project management, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement capabilities to deliver quality outcomes within agreed timeframes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate health and safety frameworks and programs across complex infrastructure projects and operational environments.
• Lead program initiatives and processes that strengthen safety performance, assurance and compliance across project delivery.
