Job summary

Transport for NSW — Sydney Metro is seeking a Health & Safety Coordinator for a temporary opportunity up to 30 June 2028. Based in Sydney, you will coordinate health and safety frameworks across complex infrastructure projects and deliver practical safety outcomes.

You will lead safety programs, drive compliance, and collaborate with project teams to provide reporting and assurance that keeps everyone safe on site.

Qualifications

• Relevant safety qualifications or actively pursuing a WHS Rail Safety qualification.
• Experience coordinating health and safety programs within complex projects or high-risk environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to communicate technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate health and safety frameworks and programs across complex infrastructure projects and operating environments.
• Lead program initiatives and processes to strengthen safety performance, assurance and compliance.
• Collaborate across project and functional teams to deliver timely safety information, reporting and practical outcomes.
