Zenergy Group is seeking a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Business Partner to lead safety across its Research & Development site and support manufacturing governance. You will establish robust governance, risk management and compliance frameworks while engaging senior leaders and stakeholders to share best practices across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in WHS, Environment, Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong leadership capability to engage frontline employees.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Solid understanding of EHS legislation, compliance requirements and management systems.
• Experience in incident investigation methodologies and risk management practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to translate risk and compliance into clear actions.

The Company

Global leader in high-risk manufacturing, ASX Listed and employing over 4,000 people across 20 sites over the world. The Health & Safety Manager is accountable for leading and overseeing two large sites in Australia. The role partners closely with site leadership teams to embed strategy, ensure compliance, and drive a strong safety culture.

Role

As the HSE Business Partner, you will be leading safety across a the Research & Development site while supporting manufacturing to ensure effective governance and consistent application of standards. Establishing and maintaining robust governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks. Engaging with senior leaders, internal stakeholders and sharing best practices across the wider organisation. You will be part of a broader health, safety and environment team. Driving a positive safety and wellbeing culture by influencing and coaching leaders.

Key Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Workplace Health and Safety, Environment, Engineering or relative discipline
• Strong leadership capability with experience engaging operational and front line employees.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to partner and hold robust conversations.
• Solid understanding of EHS legislation, compliance requirements, and management systems
• Experience in incident investigation methodologies and risk management practices
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills with attention to detail
• Effective communication skills with the ability to translate risk and compliance into clear actions
