Job summary

Pacific Energy is seeking a proactive HSE Advisor to support health, safety and environmental performance across our projects and operations in Australia. You'll work with Senior Advisors, develop HSE systems, and provide hands-on support to teams and contractors, with opportunities to lead improvements and advance your HSE career.

This permanent full-time role based in Perth offers a 9-day fortnight, some work-from-home days, and the chance to contribute to renewables and power generation

Qualifications

• Experience as an HSE Advisor or in a similar role.
• Experience with HSE management systems and internal auditing.
• Knowledge of HSE legislation and its practical application.
• Experience with high-risk activities such as working at heights, electrical safety or crane operations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HSE legislation and Pacific Energy policies.
• Develop and improve HSE management systems and documentation.
• Conduct workplace inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Develop site-specific HSE risk plans and procedures.
• Assist in emergency management planning and response.
• Deliver HSE inductions and training; mentor teams.
• Lead incident investigations and ensure lessons learned.
