Job summary

Zeal Engineering Pty Ltd in Perth, WA, is seeking an HSE Advisor for an 18-month project on a Gold asset. The role involves managing safety for multiple contractor groups on an 8/6 roster, reporting to the project director, and supporting the study to commissioning phase.

You will work with the owners team to enhance safety practices on site. The ideal candidate has mining industry experience, strong HSE knowledge, and demonstrated ability to identify risks and implement mitigations in a project

Qualifications

• Qualifications in HSE S26 well regarded though not mandatory.
• Owner's team experience on Gold Projects is advantageous.
• Able to identify project risks and implement mitigative strategies.
• Previous experience in mining projects is preferred.
• Experience in the mining industry (essential).
• Strong understanding and practice of Occupational Health and Safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day safety for various contractor groups.
• Assist in safety planning and risk mitigation on site.
• Support reporting to the project director.
• Contribute to safety audits and incident investigations.
