Job summary

RCT Powered by Epiroc, an industry-leading safety and automation provider, is hiring an experienced HSE Advisor in Australia. You will support development and continuous improvement of the HSE Management System, advise leaders, and drive a practical safety culture across operations.

You will manage workers’ compensation processes, deliver training, and conduct audits and risk assessments to safeguard people and the environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree qualification in Work Health and Safety
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in an HSE Advisor or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Australian HSE legislation and regulatory requirements
• Experience maintaining ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve the HSE Management System
• Manage workers’ compensation claims and return-to-work plans
• Provide practical HSE advice to leaders and staff
• Promote proactive safety culture and wellbeing
• Conduct inspections, audits and compliance activities
• Deliver HSE training and competency programs
• Identify and control workplace risks using JHAs and SWMS
• Review SWMS and SOPs with operational leaders
• Maintain VOC process and Momentum HSE System
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
• Maintain corporate risk register and track actions
• Support behavioural safety initiatives with Epiroc
• Maintain ISO 14001/45001 systems
